You can jack in to The Matrix Online beginning on Saturday, March 19 at 12:00 Noon Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8:00 hours).
How long can I play the game if I have a preorder key, but don't have a CD-key from the game? |
Players with preorder keys can play the game until March 25 at 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8:00 hours). After that, you must have a CD-key from the retail box to continue playing the game.
European players who have successfully registered a preorder key will have until 11:59 PM PST on April 10, 2005 to register their accounts with a retail CD key.
Do I lose my character if I don't register a retail CD-key by the deadline? |
There are no current plans to delete characters created during the preorder grace period.
What is the preorder Hyper-Jump Ability? |
The preorder Hyper-Jump Ability (called "Hyper-Jump Beta" in the game) grants a +10 bonus to your overall Hyper-Jump statistics. Unlike the normal Hyper-Jump Ability, you'll be able to use Hyper-Jump Beta beginning at level 1. Since Hyper-Jump Beta grants a +10 bonus to your Hyper-Jump stat, when you get the normal Hyper-Jump Ability (available to characters level 10 and above) your Hyper-Jump capability will be 10 levels higher than your Hyper-Jump Ability level is currently at.
When do I get the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability? |
Characters will get the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability beginning on March 19, 2005 when preorders are let in to The Matrix Online.
Do all of my characters get the preorder Hyper-Jump Ability? |
Yes. When you register your preorder key, the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability will be attached to your account. From then on, any character you create will get the Ability.
Can the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability be leveled up? |
No. Hyper-Jump Beta grants a +10 to your overall Hyper-Jump statistic. Only the normal Hyper-Jump Ability can be leveled up.
Can I sell or trade the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability to other players? |
No. Hyper-Jump Beta is non-sellable and non-tradable.
If I don't register my preorder key until after March 19, will I still get the Hyper-Jump Beta? |
Yes. We have not set a deadline for registering preorder keys, yet. Until we do, you can register a preorder key and get the Hyper-Jump Beta Ability on any new character you create after registering.
