  • Bug preventing players with spaces in their account names from logging on has been fixed.

Featured Changes

  • Typing /hardline will give you a waypoint and distance to the nearest hardline.
  • Mission operators now suggest known hardlines if one is closer to a mission area than the player is.
  • Players can now use /afk to mark themselves as away from their keyboards.
  • Characters successfully withdrawing from Interlock are now immune to being drawn back in for 5 seconds after withdrawing.
  • Sound looping bug has been fixed.
  • Players can now use /loadingarea to destroy their RSI and return to the Loading Area. Death Penalty effects still apply.

Changes and Improvements

  • Map panel now remembers if coordinates should be displayed.
  • Clicking Enter after pressing / will now exit the Chat window.
  • Code Analyzer and Code Compiler Tool interfaces now close when teleporting via hardline.
  • Character Details panel now better displays long character names.
  • Health bars now update more quickly.
  • Players now receive appropriate text telling them they have auto-declined a duel challenge.
  • Mission objectives window now remembers the last size players set it at.
  • Popup menus now auto-size their width to fit their content and there's a new submenu indicator that doesn't stretch.
  • Tooltips have been added for camera setting options.
  • Tooltip now appears when the Health Bar is moused over.
  • Sentinel window now closes when the player is attacked (in any form).
  • Advanced Team Find panel now has a title bar/window-drag area.
  • Tooltip has been added for the PvP icon.
  • Double-clicking a target for ranged combat will now auto-fire just like clicking the ranged attack button in the hotbar.
  • Any panel that normally closes at a certain distance from an object now close when the player is killed with the window open, as well.
  • Mission failure-conditions now appear in the mission goals window.
  • Tooltips now include re-use wait times.
  • Error messages now clear from the chat window after teleporting via hardline.
  • Map zoom now stays at the last player setting.
  • Items now switch places or stack (as appropriate) if one is dragged on top of another in the Inventory window.
  • Free Fire and Close Combat style settings now stay at the last player setting after reconstructing, teleporting, and between sessions.
  • Buddy List window-size now stays at the last player setting.
  • Reflective textures have been added to bathroom mirrors.
  • Improved mission NPC pathfinding in rowhouses.
  • Discipline icons now appear in character Details windows.
  • Tool tip images have been resized for many items.
  • Ignore Pain has a new sound effect.
  • Concealment has a new animation.
  • Adrenaline Booster has a new visual effect when active.
  • Open Locks animation has been updated.
  • Sniper Abilities have been adjusted for balance.
  • Iron Guard now grants a +10 bonus to Dodge Ranged for 30 seconds.
  • All Disguise Tools now list their required minimum levels.
  • Dual Weapon animations have been smoothed out.
  • Players now receive feedback if their chat to external users is being blocked.
  • Players now get a text message when their PvP flags are turned on or off.
  • IS is now restored to the player if a special attack doesn't execute.
  • Stacked items can now be split while in the Loading Area.
  • Silver Bullet sound effect now goes to eleven.
  • Ignore now blocks mission-team invites.
  • Thin mission objects are now easier to select and interact with.
  • Enemy con colors now update immediately if targeted while a player levels up.
  • Traffic sounds have been improved.
  • Radius for duel messages is now more appropriate.
  • Sound effects added for Synchronizing a hardline.
  • Alarm sound effect no longer goes to eleven.
  • Signpost NPCs now keep their overhead icons until they've said all their dialogue to a player.
  • Mouseovers have been added to melee and free-fire combat styles.
Bug Fixes
  • Upgrade panel mouseover now displays correct text.
  • Guillotines no longer show up as "Some Person".
  • Danger meter no longer gets covered up by the In mission-area indicator.
  • Typing / in the Loading Area now puts players into Chat entry mode.
  • The Buyback button is enabled only when an item is available for buyback.
  • Players no longer sound like a cartoon dog when using the /r command.
  • Sit state-icon now displays when the player is sitting.
  • Players can no longer name a new Favorite with the same name another already has in MxORadio.
  • Looted weapons no longer automatically replace the Free Fire weapon on the hotbar.
  • Inventory no longer switches to the first pane when trading items.
  • Players no longer get the Recruit to Crew option for hostile or dead players.
  • Free Fire button now dims correctly when players move out of range of their targets.
  • The /removewaypoint command now works correctly.
  • Only the currently selected fighting style's icon will appear in the UI. (It used to be possible to show more than one at once even though fighting style upgrades don't stack.)
  • Vendor buyback now shows the icon of the player's most recently sold item.
  • Bug causing active tactic indicator to not change position while Precise Blow is active has been fixed.
  • Bugs Bunny style dual elevator doors have been removed from the Slums buildings.
  • Mission area computers no longer flicker in and out of existence.
  • Bug causing some mission interiors to disappear has been fixed.
  • Club vendors no longer kneel when interacted with.
  • Broken mission area in the Slums has been fixed.
  • Maintenance has removed all air conditioning units from stairwells.
  • Subway no longer runs through low-rent housing in the Slums.
  • Housing regulations no longer allow dumpsters to be placed through the walls of buildings.
  • Invisible walls near Southard warehouses have been fixed.
  • Rose got a new shirt.
  • Maintenance removed the trash can from a revolving door in Downtown.
  • Mini-Guinness Lake has been paved over.
  • Floating air conditioners have been bolted down.
  • Several areas where players clipped into surfaces have been fixed.
  • Many invisible walls have been fixed throughout MegaCity.
  • Swimming underwater in the Creston Heights park is now prohibited.
  • Interior sign for Zeitgeist now shows the correct floor.
  • Rooted characters can no longer move forward by tapping the forward movement key.
  • Teleporting with Combat Aura 1.0 active no longer produces a strange text message.
  • Sneak attacks now all list that the character must be using a stealth mode and be behind the target in order to use the Ability.
  • Turning in place no longer interrupts Hacker animations.
  • Ability description for Disrupt Connection is now correct.
  • Combat Aura 2.0 now has a minimum level requirement of 35 to match Abilities of similar types.
  • Punishing Blows can now be activated both in or out of Interlock combat.
  • Hotbar buttons are now grayed out correctly when strafing.
  • Calm Mind Calm Body no longer becomes greyed out when moving.
  • Bug causing Guard Breaker to not work correctly against some NPCs has been fixed.
  • Players now receive a more appropriate message when attempting to disable security devices without the proper tool.
  • Stealth countermeasures now only disrupts the stealth Abilities of hostile characters.
  • Text output for Upgrade Attacks now uses points instead of percentages.
  • Text output for Power Boost 1.0 now uses points instead of percentages.
  • All non-item upgrades and downgrades now clear correctly after a character is killed.
  • Bug causing players to walk on air after being hit by a Poison Knife while climbing has been fixed.
  • Simulacra status now updates correctly in the control panel.
  • Bug causing bodies to flip over after being killed has been fixed.
  • Emotes with different mood animations now play correctly.
  • Males no longer have the Two-Face bulging eye option.
  • The reply chat function now works even if the AIM system is offline.
  • Pressing Enter when not in chat mode now re-activates the chat window without sending any text already in it.
  • Players can no longer avoid the death penalty by quitting the game then restarting it.
  • Having PvP flags turned on no longer allows players outside a duel to attack players within a duel.
  • Weapon loaded in Close Combat shortcut button now always appears when the button is used to engage in combat.
  • Grab tactics are now called "Grab" in the chat window.
  • Bug causing players to not be able to target each other after splitting off a multi-on-one Interlock fight has been fixed.
  • Bug preventing players from targeting the single opponent in multi-on-one Interlock has been fixed.
  • Male version of Peck's Shirt now has a level 35 minimum (to match the female version).
  • Several clothing items that still gave bonuses to Selection Range (unused) have been modified to have useful bonuses.
  • There is now only one version of the Miasma 1.0 ability available in the coding interface.
  • Female Corrupt Hands gloves now give a bonus to Force Combat (to match male version).
  • Johnnygun now has a level 10 minimum and deals more damage (to match area where it can be gained).
  • Male Kenny's Gi now gives a 25-point bonus to Grab tactics (to match female version).
  • Female LilQuick's Sneakers now give a 15-point bonus to Stealth (to match male version).
  • Enhanced WestTek 49DA pistols now have a 10% chance on their DoT effect (to match similar weapons).
  • Missing "l" returned to Pillsen Stairwalk map label.
  • NPC in the Underneath the Surface mission no longer gives players an unusable Ability as a reward.
  • Bug causing locked doors to appear to be open has been fixed.
  • NPC in Merovingian mission "Medical Records" now correctly scales to player levels.
  • Security NPCs in the Auditor's mission "Throwing a Disk" now correctly scale to player levels.
  • Follower NPC in Tick Tock's mission "Trading Places" no longer turns hostile.
  • NPC giver in Mr. Bishop's mission "Play Dead" no longer fails to offer the Take option.
  • Second phase of the Jeweler's mission "Bright Shiny Objects" appears closer to the first phase location more often.
  • Uploadable items are now always required to be uploaded in the same phase they're gathered.
  • Players can no longer have NPC in phase 2 of Transcendence follow to phase 4 and meet a copy of herself. Temporal anomaly avoided.
  • Temporal anomaly pass continues: NPC in mission "Out of Bounds" no longer meets himself multiple times during the mission.
  • Objectives modified in mission "Recon and Retrieval" to avoid situation that renders the mission un-completable.
  • Item Codes now remain selected and in the same Central Storage slot while being compiled into items.
  • Choppers hackers are no longer much higher level than other nearby Choppers.
  • All simulacra in the tutorial carry less than 20 $i.
  • Attribute list in the Status and Upgrade panels is now in the same order.
  • Interior sign for The Vault is no longer invisible.
  • Inaccessible skyscraper door has been fixed.
  • Bug preventing tutorial videos from playing if the player enters the combat room then comes back to the TV has been fixed.
  • Bug causing players to get stuck in the Tutorial while using the Upgrade panel has been fixed.
  • Bug preventing players from continuing after defeating the melee simulacra has been fixed.
  • Bug preventing the actual tactic being used during Interlock from showing as the selected tactic has been fixed.
