Items listed on this page will be part of the update scheduled for April 27, 2005.
New Content, Features, and Major Changes
- Chapter 1.2 missions are now available for all Organizations.
- Crafting an Item or Ability Code now costs $Information equal to the 1/10th the Vendor price.
- Compiling Items in the Loading Area now costs the same as Compiling them in game (1/10th the Vendor price).
- Players' affiliated Organizations now appear above their RSI when their PvP flags are on.
- Players can now use the /orgnames command to view other players' organizations.
- Players can now select the option to always display other player Organization names via the Options panel.
- Tough- and Boss-level NPCs that con-grey no longer give XP. (They still give loot drops.)
- Bug preventing players from equipping weapons when they've met the requirements has been fixed.
- Enhancements on items that still had Combat Tactics upgrades on them have been modified to other bonuses.
- Loot drops are now appropriately adjusted for the con-level of a defeated NPC. (Higher con gives better loot than lower con.)
- Launcher can now institute a quicker recovery patch instead of always doing a full system check when a patch problem is found.
- Players will now receive some XP for participating in missions they have already completed if they are part of a mission team with players who have not completed the mission before. (They no longer have to be the mission team leader.)
- Improvements have been made to avoid players being unable to negotiate with servers.
- Options preferences are now saved correctly when changed by players.
- Players can now toggle the UI on and off. (Default hotkey: Ctrl + U)
- Items now stack correctly in the Code Archive.
- Players can now generate a ZIPped CCR abuse report that can be attached to a petition by targeting a player and doing one of the following:
- typing /report in the chat window,
- right-clicking a player's RSI and selecting Report Abuse from the menu, or
- right-clicking a player's name in the chat window and selecting Report Abuse from the menu.

Other Changes and Improvements
- Vault sign now displays the correct floor for the club.
- Graphic timers now appear for stun and mez immunity.
- Neighborhood Contact the Sculptress got a wardrobe change.
- Rose got a wardrobe change for Mr. Black's "Thorny Rose" mission.
- Hyper-Sprint visual effect has been updated.
- Ki Burst visual effects have been updated.
- Reason Attribute description now more accurately describes its effects.
- Intensify Damage animation now appears on the character using the ability.
- Recall Mission Team and Recall Team Member now have a confirmation window.
- Hyper Dodge now has a visual effect while activated.
- Hyper Speed now has a visual effect while activated.
- Players can no longer unload the Awakened Ability.
- Adrenaline Booster no longer increases your vulnerability duration and has an increased damage bonus of 1.5 points per character level (melee and ranged).
- Force Enhancer animation now appears on the character using the ability.
- Stealth Abilities can no longer be activated when the player is visible to an enemy.
- Energized Attacks now has a visual effect while activated.
- Power Shot now has a visual effect when used.
- Chat text will now tell you what the required Ability and level to use a tool is if you don't have the prerequisites loaded.
- Precise Blow now has a visual effect during Interlock combat.
- Supreme Damage Resistance now has text output when it heals a player.
- Deflect Virus 1.0 now has text output when used.
- Hyper Strength now has a visual effect when uses and when it is running.
- Stun and mez immunity now have visible timers.
- "Named" and mission NPCs now use mood animations.
- Gang NPCs now return to their original locations more quickly after losing their target players.
- The Zero One Construct laborers are now more hostile.
- Tengu will now attack players more quickly.
- NPCs now choose Abilities to use more efficiently, improving their reaction time.
- NPCs now react more quickly to players teleporting to hardlines near them.
- NPCs now make better decisions on when to begin using weapons outside of Interlock.
- Interlock animation performance during heavy load situations has been improved.
- Archivist NPCs have new animations.
- New prone animations have been added.
- Animations for normal jumping have been updated.
- Some mood settings now affect chat animations.
- Moods have been added to the Emote window.
- Loading Area opens to the Cinematic window when there is a new (unviewed) cinematic available.
- Players can now list all available emotes using the /listemotes command.
- Players will now be logged out for inactivity even if using a looping emote (like /dance).
- Items lost when dying are now listed immediately instead of when the player jacks back in.
- Holy Water animations have been updated.
- 3D models have been added to consumable pill object pop-ups.
- Antibiotic Consumables now have an 8-second Family re-use timer.
- Data Node Locator Handheld now "pings" the area near the player using it, showing nearby Data Nodes briefly.
- New models added for mouseovers of non-pill Consumable items.
- Healing over time Consumables have been added to club bartender inventories.
- Wording on items that modify different regeneration rates have been made more consistent. (All items are now listed as modifying one of the following: Health Regen Rate, Inner Strength Regen Rate, Sitting Inner Strength Regen Rate, Standing Inner Strength Regen Rate, or Standing Health Regen Rate.)
- Silencers and special effects have been added for silenced weapons.
- Coded items are now flagged as player-created. (No display yet.)
- Results when using the Mission Team Advanced Search now update when a player changes his/her Ability loadout.
- Seek status is now turned off when the player joins a mission team.
- New sound effects have been added to many Abilities.
- New sound effects have been added to the meson rifles.
- Default MMP hotkey for Target Self is now Ctrl + Y. (Toggle UI is now Ctrl + U.)
- Mouseover layout for item information has been updated.
- Players are now receive a message telling them if they don't have an item selected when using the Vendor Appraise function.
- Positioning of tooltip windows has been improved.
- Chat filter settings are now saved on a players machine when changed.
- Right-click menu options are available for items in the Loading Area.
- Size of different areas of the chat window now stay in proportion when resizing the chat window.
- Abilities listed on the Upgrade panel now update immediately when Abilities are equipped or unequipped.
- Ability codes a player has that can't be equipped due to missing prerequisites now have a red border on the Abilities panel.
- Tactic icons move between states more smoothly during Interlock combat.
- Players can now use Ctrl + Home to copy chat text to the Windows clipboard and Ctrl + Insert to paste clipboard text to the chat window.
- Upgrade panel layout has been updated.
- Players no longer run towards the targeted player after selecting Send a /tell from the right-click menu.
- Image shown in the Details panel now matches the RSI appearance when using a Disguise tool.
- Upgrade panel now tells a player when an Ability can't be leveled due to not having enough $Information.
- Exile hideout elevators now only display floors the elevator can move to.
- All open panels now close automatically when teleporting via hardline.
- Information on the Bonus Panel is now updated automatically if it is open while changes are being made on the Upgrade panel.
- Players can now have up to 500 favorites stored for MxORadio.
- MxORadio can now be disabled via the Options panel.
- Opponent's current tactic now appears in the Active Tactic slot once it's locked in.
- More variety has been added to bluepills found inside buildings.
- Players and NPCs no longer glow when regaining Inner Strength from a Block tactic (IS gain will show in chat area text).
- Profanity filter can now be turned on and off via the Chat options panel.
- Tooltips now always appear on top of other UI elements.
- Players can now split stacks of items in Central Storage.

Bug Fixes
- Master Shadow no longer allows players to pass through doors without opening them.
- Tinkering now correctly affects enemies within its area of effect radius.
- Harmful effects from Disrupt Connection now wear off correctly.
- Disrupt Connection now breaks stealth if its target resists the attack.
- Neuro Dart animation now only plays on the target if it hits.
- Hyper Jump sound effects now play consistently.
- Players can no longer use Recall Mission Team in mission areas then trap teleported players by exiting immediately. (That's just not nice.)
- Consistant Technique now improves average tactics scores more consitently.
- Minor Repairs is no longer an activated ability and doesn't have a buffer cost.
- Decompile Items is no longer an activated ability and doesn't have a buffer cost.
- Players are now prevented from attempting to Compile codes and items they don't have enough $Info to compile.
- Locate Data Node now only shows up on your buffer bar when using a Data Locator tool.
- Higher-level aura Abilities now correctly overwrite lower-level aura Abilities when activated (like Combat Aura 1.0 and 2.0).
- Mouseover text for Comat Aura 1.0 and 2.0 now list the buffer cost associated with each.
- Guard Orders panel now closes when simulacra-creating Abilities are unloaded.
- Self Defense Ability is no longer craftable.
- Combat Auras now send a chat message to players when they turn off due to lack of Inner Strength.
- Submachine Guns, Rifles, Handguns, Karate, Kung-Fu, and Aikido Abilities now have complexities set to the appropriate levels.
- Bug causing the Combat state to not wear off has been fixed.
- Impart Invisibility no longer tells the target s/he is now visible when it is used on the target a second time.
- Precise Blow now has a buffer cost of 8 when activated.
- Mouseover for Immobilizing Shot now lists the correct movement speed downgrade.
- Chat text now tells players when a stun or mez effect wears off.
- Tools required for Abilities now correctly check for stability loss when used.
- Visual effect for Ki Burst now appears on all effected targets.
- Visual effect for Ki Burst no longer appears on friendly targets.
- Static Field is now craftable.
- Code Compiler Tool feedback now correctly displays bonuses from loaded Maker Abilities.
- Intermittent problem using Ctrl + Space for Hyper-Jump has been fixed.
- Hyper-Jump Beta no longer works inside the Tutorial construct. (No more beating on the Ranged Combat target, folks.)
- Disable Security Devices no longer begins at level 0 and can now be leveled up correctly.
- Stealth Physical Damage Resistance is now displayed as a percentage (to match other resistance stats).
- NPCs can no longer use Knife Throw Abilities while in Interlock. (Those found doing so will be ejected from the game for exploiting against players.)
- Bug causing simulacra to stop following their controller but stay in Follow mode has been fixed.
- NPCs will now use special abilities during Interlock combat.
- NPCs now use Negative Condition Sweep at appropriate times.
- NPCs no longer lose their targets when moving around corners.
- Bug causing NPCs to slide instead of running has been fixed.
- Hostile NPCs now attack follower NPCs after entering their "aggressive" stance.
- Hostile mission NPCs no longer get stuck in a clump when trying to pass through mission-area doors.
- NPCs no longer enter the Evade state if the distance to a player around an object is small.
- Engage Foes animations now work correctly.
- Drunk mood animations no longer cause RSIs to clip into buildings (no matter how drunk you are).
- Name in use error now tells players it is the handle that has been taken (not the first and last names).
- Hel Club NPCs now scale to levels appropriate for Downtown.
- 100 $i is no longer considered a "major" reward.
- Initial spaces are no longer eliminated from chat text when using the various /t functions.
- Crew members information is automatically updated when another crew-member character is deleted by that player.
- Crew and Faction member information is now properly updated when a member is deleted.
- New denture adhesive added to keep RSI teeth from popping out of their heads using the /cheer emote.
- Players no longer get the incorrect message they are being sent to the Loading Area after losing in a Duel.
- Disbanding a faction now removes all players from the faction and sends a pop-up telling members the leader is disbanding the faction.
- Crew names are now correctly added when invited to join a Faction.
- Bug causing players to gain reputation points with the incorrect Organization during some storyline missions has been fixed.
- Bug preventing a newly-designated Faction leader from using the Faction bank has been fixed.
- Attribute bonuses are now being correctly applied to associated statistics.
- Game will automatically create an options.cfg file if options are changed and no options.cfg file exists.
- Using a Free Attack on a target you don't have line-of-sight to no longer activates the Free Attack cooldown timer.
- Speed vulnerability icon now displays when that vulnerability appears in an opponent.
- Initial Combat Style choices for Interlock now carry over from previous Interlock sessions.
- Chat combat messages now give the correct bonus and tactic roll numbers.
- Items can now be stacked on full Inventory panes if a matching item exists on that pane.
- Items now stack correctly in the Loading Area Inventory screen.
- Correct icons are now displayed when dragging Ability Codes out of the Inventory into the world or to a Vendor.
- Access Node Keys now use the correct neighnorhood names.
- Twin FM-700 Magnums and Dual FM-9SKs are now priced appropriate to the level required to use them (17,000 $Information each).
- Disrupt Connection Tool has been added to high-end loot tables.
- Attributes listed on the Status screen now accurately reflect Attribute bonuses from enhanced clothing.
- Mouseovers for Collector and Dungeon boss weapons now show the correct item bonuses.
- Boucher Coats can now be Decompiled.
- Bandanas and Baseball Caps now appear in the Hats category in Coding tool lists.
- Enhanced Purple Paramil Cargopants now correctly improves the Decompile Ability.
- Enhanced White Tress Skirt now gives a 5-point bonus to Viral Resistance (35 was just a bit too high).
- Enhanced Cream Masseli Moon V-Neck Dress now only requires a character level of 16 (in-line with other items with similar enhancements).
- Enhanced Bright Silver Masseli Moon V-Neck Dress now gives bonuses to both Viral Resistance and Viral Deflection (instead of two bonuses to Viral Deflection).
- Enhanced Pale Purple Ivora Slacks, Enhanced Aquamarine Streta Silk Shortsleeve Shirt, and Enhanced Green Avero Pizzaz Shirt now increase Max Health by 200 (in line with other enhanced items with similar prerequisites).
- Code Crafter Ability description now accurately describes the Ability.
- Enhanced Green Milleri Keyline Silk Tailcoat now has a minimum character level of 12 (in line with other items with similar enhancements).
- Enhanced Orange Metro Short Coat now has a 50% chance of activating.
- Enhanced Yellow Li Clasped Tunic and Pants now gives a 20-point bonus to Ranged Damage (instead of 2 to 20 points).
- Enhanced Dogwood Reynolds Duster Highcollar now gives the appropriate Toughness bonus.
- Female clothing items with incorrect Melee Combat Tactics bonuses now have different enhancements.
- Skaver Buckleboots can now be Decompiled.
- The Hygenicap no longer displays as "Dress" in the Inventory screen.
- Deleting a character now deletes the character's cached information (such as Faction ID).
- Vauxton now appears in the correct place on the in-game map.
- Bugs preventing completion of several Pepper (Neighborhood Contact) missions have been fixed.
- Killing a mission NPC before s/he detects the player no longer makes it impossible to complete the mission.
- Bug causing a mission to be impossible to complete because the player is never given the initial object to carry has been fixed.
- Mission objectives now correctly update during the Grab the Bag mission.
- Incorrect mission item in third Nicky G. mission has been replaced.
- Mission building waypoint graphics no longer block interaction with doors.
- Missions for Weaver (South Vauxton) now spawn closer to her location.
- The Network's mission "A Convincing Argument" now correctly includes a locked door and key.
- Mission items can now only be traded to other mission team members.
- Mission area in the Slums that wasn't loading correctly has been fixed.
- Friendly NPCs in "Redpill Rescue" mission can now be killed. (You no longer have the option of keeping them as invulnerable sidekicks.)
- Assistant NPC in Madame T's mission "Toil and Trouble" no longer attacks players, making it impossible to complete the mission.
- Missions will now automatically fail when NPCs that must be led out of an area are killed (instead of forcing the player to abort the mission).
- Computer in "Trace Route" mission now takes the password CD from players.
- Bug preventing completion of the third phase of the mission "Grooving Up Slowly" has been fixed.
- Tyndall no longer tells players to leave the area before all goals are completed in the "Untouchable" mission.
- Zion operatives no longer spawn in the rescue phase of Sister Margaret's mission "Blue Destiny".
- Final goal now checks off in the Landlord's mission "Window Dressing" when follower NPCs are led to the drop-off NPC.
- Mission objectives for phase one of Yuusuke Akayam's mission "In the Belly of the Beast" now appear when the mission starts.
- Players can now get the mission item from the Landlord in the Sculptress' mission "The Lease".
- NPCs now target the player instead of the follower in the Auditor's mission "For a Few Disks More".
- Assistant in Mr. Bishop mission "Play Dead" no longer attacks players.
- Enemy mission NPCs are no longer all called "Guard".
- Newly invited mission team members can be promoted or booted immediately after inviting them using the Mission Team Management panel.
- Invisible wall on stairs in Magog has been fixed.
- Invisible wall along curb in Chelsea has been fixed.
- Carousel door invisible wall problems have been fixed.
- Players no longer get stuck repeatedly animating their reaction to being hit by cars.
- Some reserved words that slipped through previous implementations of the filter have been added.
- Some audio popping and clicking issues have been resolved.
- Client no longer freezes when mousing over Inventory items in the game or Loading Area.
- Bug allowing reconstruct timers to remain after jacking out has been fixed.
- Hostile players no longer display Recruit to Mission Team as a menu option when right clicked on.
- Word wrapping while typing in the chat window now works correctly.
- The Loot dropdown window now automatically closes if the current team captain is changed while it is open.
- Ability information now immediately updates when an Ability is loaded in the Abilities window.
- Ability descriptions in the Ability panel no longer state the code isn't in storage when it is.
- Utility Master Ability code now has a Complexity of 50 (to match the required character level).
- Clicking + on the Upgrade panel without selecting an Ability on the list no longer adds levels to the Focus Attribute.
- Cancel button has been removed from the Audio Options panel.
- Problems using chat with the MMP default hotkeys have been resolved.
- Players can no longer climb ladders from inside buildings.
- International District building with several interior invisible wall problems has been fixed.
- Redpill motel building in Southard has been fixed. (Players can now check in and check out.)
- Duplicate Neighborhood Contact the Seamstress (Jurong) has been replaced with Lotus.
- Duplicate Neighborhood Contact the Network has been replaced with Sammy Wein.
- Invisible wall along street in Edgewater has been fixed.
- MegaCity Power has removed the electrical box from the doorway and Vauxton.
- Invisible wall in Zero One Construct has been fixed.
- Invisible wall between cargo crates in Uriah has been fixed.
